Are you looking to expand the products you can make with your fluid art materials? Are you wondering how to go about making jewelry, magnets, and keychains with your paint skins? In this video I’ll give you the FULL, detailed breakdown of how to do it.

Paint skin jewelry is a wonderful way to offer low-cost items at sales events, since most people may not be looking to spend $50 on a painting but would happily spend $20 on a necklace and bracelet set.

Once you have your paint skins made and dried, it only takes 2 days to have fully-finished products (about 5 minutes active time per piece) so you can make a lot in a short amount of time!

The materials needed are:
-Glass cabochons (available on Amazon in different sizes)
-Pendent trays (also available in different sizes, shapes, and materials)
-Diamond glaze
-Clear Gorilla Glue (or E6000 glue)
-Plastic clamps
-Razor blade
-Jewelry accessories, such as necklace chains, bracelet bands, or keychain parts
-Magnets (about the same size as your cabochons)
-Freezer paper (for making custom paint skins that peel off easily)
-Page protectors or ziploc bags for storing paint skins

Wow! You just answered a bit question I have been looking for. A lot of paint pour artists say save your paint skins and sometimes they would show the paint skins on a piece of paper, but they wouldn't say what the paper was. Now I have my answer. Freezer paper! One question though. Could wax paper work too? As for making jewelry, that I have been doing for a few months using UV resin, but your tutorial on cabochons and how to use those, that was fantastic how you explained each step and showed the finished product. Thank you for sharing all of this with the YouTube viewers. I personally have learned a lot.

Definitely having a go with my grandkids. Great nana is about to turn 90 and I’m sure she’d like some fridge magnets and my oldest granddaughter is 11 so I know that she’d like to make jewelry for herself and her friends. I’m very excited to give it a go. This is a brilliant holiday project for the girls and I. Thanks for sharing.

I recently started watching videos about acrylic pouring and one of the channels I’ve been following is yours. This video is great and answers my questions about what to do with the extra paint that comes out of the canvases. You have a pleasant presence and voice and cover this topic thoroughly in a comprehensive manner.
Thank you!
