I feel like if I had such encounters in real life, the lion roar would make me run like hell, while the tiger one would literally paralyze me with fear.
And it makes sense. If a lion roars at you it's to warn you so you get away from its territory, while a tiger doesn't even bother with that, it will simply kill you.
