Definitely replace that control arm and ball joint if your doing a lift kit.

I did mine last week, instead of new bushes, I made polyurethane bushes and it feels better. Also the top nut for the joint you can easily access through one of the rear wheel arches if you take the wheel off. I was even able to get my impact in there for the 3 bolts. We need to keep these WJs alive

I have a problem with my wj where anytime I get over about 40 mph and let go of the gas there's a whining sound that I think is coming from the front what could that be?

The WJ rear suspension is ahead of its time. Even now, Jeep does not put anything as good on the JL Wrangler. It is both a triangulated 4-link and a 3-link.

I just made a new tubular one. With grease certs so it’ll last forever

Recommend just buying an upgraded rear upper control arm, or install polyurethane bushings or solid bushings

Just did mine was the factory one with 240xxx miles was wobbly as he'll felt like yhe reqr end was trying go side ways
