Actually Zealand I got sacked by Atletico Mineiro I was trying to get them back into the Copa Libertadores then stupidly made a promise to the board that we’d win our next Sudamericana game which we drew and progressed in the competition but that wasn’t enough for the board

I feel inspired. When I am done with my current save, I am definitely trying a save where I leave all transfer and contract negotiations to a Director of Football. That sounds like such a huge challenge.

Most fun part about the save was looking at the players you got and players that were signed by the GM or players leaving and figuring out a solution and trying different tactical setups

I used like a 4-4-2 in early Malaysia and used a 433 in my title winning team
Then in politecnitica lasi used a 4-4-2 cause we had a lot of good strikers
In fiorentina I stuck with the same tactic
Did it again at Brighton for a year before we sold our best two strikers and the next best one wasn’t really a finisher so used a 4-2-3-1 where goals would be coming out wide
Ac Milan brought me a lot of FB who were basically CB so I started using IFBs I used to shift between a 4-3-3 a 4-2-3-1 and a 5-3-2 based on oppositions and who we signed or sold
My next foray was Liverpool where our strikers were kinda bad so I just went yep DLF on support same 4-3-3 you saw at Milan but with hard working midfield IFB and IWB and inside forwards
And those years had a lot of 0-0 and 1-0
The next job was Real Madrid
Great strikers again so I start with a 4-4-2 but the gm kept signing midfielders (Attaxking and defensive and Center mids) so I shifted to a 4-4-2 diamond then he basically kept signing strikers who would be better off in attacking midfield so we started using a 4-1-2-2-1 but then the game had sorta started taking forever to load so I started a new save and it sorta replaced the file and like the last file I could find was 3rd year in Milan

I actually love the idea of letting the football director or gm make the transfers for you and manage what they give you or take away from you. I would definitely try this out!

I had such a blast managing Septemvri. The rating here wasn't important to me just had so much fun. Also the player who got the assist for Ljubic in the UCL final is also a former Septemvri player.

I can relate to the St Albans save. I got promoted to the championship with Mansfield town. Out of nowhere expected mid table. I got sacked for finishing 18th. Bear in mind the highest they ever finished in their existence is 21st in the Championship.

No freaking way I would have been sacked IRL.

Never sent my save in, but I started as Tipton Town who are in the West Midlands (Regional) League Division One - in 2063 we finally won the Prem & champions league. 63 years at one club. That included a ~10 year spell in the VNN where we just couldn't progress.

My craziest save was my local team in the Spanish 7th division.
My other crazy save is playing Barcelona with only homegrown players. This may not sound crazy, but I manually sold every non-homegrown player, surprisingly not getting sacked, but winning League and Cup. (Yes, I brought Messi back)

I am the Hammarby guy! Yes, gotta admit I did not develop enough Swedish talent, but honestly there werent many outstanding players to go to. But I am thankful that my save was included Z!! Up Hammarby!
