Adding blinking lights to your scene can make all the difference!

They not only add movement and visual interest, but also a familiar element and sense of scale. And the best part about them is: they are incredibly easy to make.

In this video, I am going to show you how I set up a blinking material in Unreal Engine. I'm also talking about a quick and easy way, to add these lights inside Blender. But this works n any other 3D software as well.

Hey Nico, thank's for this tip, I watched it some time ago and remembered it, now came back as I work on a off-shore wind turbine park scene - this tiny detail really gives it an extra atmosphere :)

This is perfect. This was a lot more efficient than the other blinking light tutorials I found. Quick question - What if I want to make a point light blink at the same time with this?
