all the games run much, much quicker if you convert your rips to CHD (preferably) or PBP

Help! I installed retroarch to my New 3DS XL but even crash bandicoot experiences so much lag it’s nearly unplayable. The micro SD is a fast read speed, the console is in mint condition. What could I have done wrong? Any tips appreciated!

Interesting, have Tekken 3 running at a consistent 60fps. However, I could not get Spider-Man PS1 to work even reasonably well. It ran terribly. I wonder if maybe I just needed a different bios to increase compatibility (because I believe my settings are pretty optimized).
