Judge issues decision in DETR lawsuit, says court finds 'significant delays'

A judge has issued a decision in a class-action lawsuit filed on behalf of those still waiting for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) in Nevada. Jeremy Chen reports.

They stopped paying me without any notice and no way to speak to anyone in the office! There outsourced call center Alorica is a joke! They are not DETR employees and cannot offer help!!! I am suffering now. Please Someone needs to look deeper into the Alorica. This rabbit hole is deep!

I feel that the PUA system is a fraud themselves. Kept on changing the payment date and never make any payments. I hope the judge is seeing this. DETR have not pay and Alorica is no help. Now they send a notification changing my weekly benefit amount. This is ridiculous. Alorica put me on hold and never respond, even hang up on me in the middle of the call.

DETR finally fixed the EmployNV.gov website on July 18 so that persons whose PUA claims were disqualified can appeal. If you've already appealed (by the new link), DETR / PUA is supposed to start responding to those appeals on Monday, Aug 3. If you appealed via email, letter or fax instead and have not received any reply from DETR PUA, you might want to call PUA to see if you need to re-file via the new link.

My tax papers for 2019 for self employed I got a darn letter saying now all of a sudden I qualify for ui I don’t I tried applying In March what are u doing over here I think u want people to give up or just stop trying ur killing us

I have put in UI claim and have not received a penny I have all my confirmation numbers of the week. Filed and still have not received a dime there's no reason I should not be receiving my unemployment benefits and I'm about to be homeless thanks for your help State when you're the reason that we all had to be laid off in the first place please somebody do something before we're all homeless living under the bridge

DETR keeps changing questions on certifications. They have now taken off the option to file under "Uber/LYFT, gig economy, musician, freelancer." I've been waiting 18 weeks. Btw, Who the heck wrote their Glossary terms? Has anybody read the definitions yet? I can't email anyone and get a reply through the portal that makes sense. It appears that the email portal blocks emails from anyone with a gmail or yahoo email account.

I sent I’d ss and lease copies and tax papers of 2019 and that’s what you said I needed now u send me a letter that I qualify for ui how is that possible I applied in March for ui and nothing u really want people to give up people are dying I don’t know what the hell im supposed to do u pay ride share to some fraudulent people that never had a dime from rideshare that charged in cash to get more money from people and I think that’s what’s driving people to just end it all people are dying out here

nothing has changed even after this judgement ..detr is doing nothing...stopped claims still unpaid.
