Your down-home way of explaining things is wonderful and a breath of fresh air. You’re not selling any product or tool or leaving out tips so you can purchase the pattern. What a wonderful easy way to make a tiny triangle. I learned to quilt last year and I made a crumb quilt out of the scraps from my quilts. I will surely make a little triangle. And a rug is a way to use up my batting scraps. I will give the rugs to the dog rescue here. They can send the dog home with its own rug

I'm so glad this tutorial appeared in my feed today. I have lots of great scraps that would look great made into a rug. I plan to use an old (1950s) wool blanket for the batting. Lots of cutting to be done but I love the idea of using up old bits and pieces.

This is a great tutorial! This is a classic skill that the women in my family used to do with their scraps in generations past. My aunties and grandmas all had rugs like these in their kitchens and bathrooms. Thanks!
