This feels like various Bond films without James Bond. Bond is partially based on Cary Grant though, which is pretty cool

I think it was part in fact that he was a gymnist, so, he knew how to take care of himself. Also, I think the reason why he was such a debonair is because he never forced his charisma. He was subtle, patient, and never condescending about it.

So many guys could take a few pages from his book... his personal problems aside, of course.

I want to add that Cary Grant was an amazingly diverse actor, equally adept at handling comedy or drama. I hate it when people underrate him and say he's playing himself. Not true.

This is by far one of the greatest videos I've ever seen. I watch this every single morning, that's the Grant effect even on me.

The James Bond character is supposed to have been directly inspired by Cary Grant- he was even offered the role but turned it down.

at a great job you did to put all theese ladies together . There will never be another Cary Grant, he was the most hansome of all men, an he was both charming, and so charming, and he had a twinkle in his eyes, and could be so funny

Thank you for this. It's a compilation of all the 'dark characters' Hitchcock had him play & Charade (a Hitchcock like film) that proves CG was the platform of 007 was created from. CG would only sign a contract for one 007 film. He was 59 when filming Charade and although still athletic, able to perform his own stunts & sexy, CG believed that he was too old to be seducing women, which is why he asked for Audrey Hepburn to chase after him.

I never thought much of Cary Grant. I only saw a few of his movies for my film class long ago. After I watched your video, I am now obsessed with Cary Grant. I can only wish to be as he was. Everyone wants to be Cary Grant.
Thank you for making this video. You have created a new obsessed Cary Grant fan!

Liked all of Grant's leading ladies, but Ingrid has always been my favorite . . . she conveyed genuine passion, for example @2:00

Before there was Dalton, there will always be Grant! Thank you. When I was in my early teens, I fell in love with Cary Grant when he was FATHER GOOSE then I went backwards in time. Thank you, Mae West for his first role on the screen. You made him your leading man. He can never be second to anyone. What a wonderful man, actor and everything that will live forever through people who keep him alive in their videos such as this one. Thank you, Irene, for the love you shared with us. ~ Janet Thompson Deaver
