The upper 25% of the population has more money than ever before. I’m a contractor and everyone I’ve worked for the past 2-3 years has more money than ever before. It’s definitely the middle 50% of the population that’s struggling. The bottom 25% gets government money and housing subsidies. I know way too many people spending outside their means that are complaining. They complain about the economy but have all brand new designer clothes and the newest iPhone and going out to eat all the time. Only way to combat this inflation is to buy assets that appreciate as fast or faster than the dollar is devalued. Doing anything else you are going backwards

A young guy maybe 25 asked me yesterday if this economy was, worse than the 70s. Having lived through the 70s I replied, " not yet, but it will be soon. In fact it will be alot worse because of BRICS and WWIII." Vietnam was horrible, but not global. 70s people were not as indebted." Not sure, if he believed me. I said I felt sorry for him because he had no idea, what his generation was in for.
