Please investigate how many people held in jail pre-trial were forced to take a plea by pleading guilty JUST TO GET OUT OF JAIL. It might enlighten some people about supposed crime statistics.

I can see how it would be difficult for judges to decide guilt or innocence in some cases if it was a first time offender, but repeat offenders are what people are upset about. You have criminals with multiple prior arrests and felonies being let out to prey on innocent civilians.

Yeh right, I was in jail, with attempt child abuse on my 16 year old daughter . They put a hold Bond on me.So I had no choice to plea guilty to a felony.After 5 months in jail for something that never took place.I had to do 1 year 1/2 on probation.I was only trying to take the phone from my daughter that I bought for her.I wanted to keep track of her phone. Report says I never put a finger on her.So why am I being in jail with no bond. New Mexico laws are not fair. I had no choice to plea guilty or they say I could be in jail for a year.to wait until trial. They had nothing on me.I didn't want to be in jail so I plead guilty for attempt child abuse.

My brother was sent to prison for a year due to self defense. He was being followed (the guy who was on the clock and is working) because my bro asked him if they had hot water for tea. Bro shot him from a moving car because of how the situation escalated, over water. The court decided to punish my bro because it was on the red and has a history with them cus he's a broken kid. The other dude who got shot didn't get jail time and still works.

The crime in Albuquerque is increasing, it's not violent too much yet, but with a pending depression and the never changing progressive leadership, plus the influx of illegal immigration, drugs and lower sentences, it'll quickly be another progressive social experiment failure.
