I had everything done correctly. The only thing I didn't do was move the ELF file to the /boot directory and delete the former OPL file. After doing that, my PS2 saw everything as intended. Thank you for your time and work for making this super helpful video!

Just use a PS3 for PS2 games. It's not worth the suffering with all the really bad tools and apps of the PS2 mod "scene"
