Comedian Alex Stein has laughed at a protester who threw their shoe at him, saying he “loves the confrontation” and has encouraged others to “bring it on”.

“They’re [lefties] literally losing their shoes over it,” Mr Stein told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“But the shoes that missed George Bush – sometimes I think the world would’ve been totally different if that shoe would’ve hit George Bush.

“I guess I was primed for this moment.

“When you beat somebody intellectually and they have to throw their shoe at you, you know you have the upper hand.

“I love the confrontation, so bring it on.”

Shoe throwing at an individual is a middle eastern tactic of displeasure. Ask Dubya Bush.
