If you set it to make the thinnest bridge and it's still making a very think bridge that's hard to break up, what could the issue(s) be? Thanks!

Bridge was near ½" on Default-setting. Moving it to the right, decreased it to about ¼"....but still too

No gloves?? Touching the ice and dropping it back in there is not a good idea, and please don’t tell me you are going to empty all those ice cubes later just for adjusting the ice thickness sensor
