I am getting an "Unhandled exception" when doing this or trying to do this. Access is denied. codes says HRESULT: 0x80070005 E_ACCESSDENIED


But my user acct has admin privilege already set. Any ideas?? My PC is constantly asking for confirmation when I do certain things and it says you need admin priv so I click OK and it does it. ? that seems stupid right there. Doesn't it KNOW I already have ADMIN privilege?


Any ideas on how I can set my user acct to actually HAVE all admin privileges? Windows 10 absolutely blows.

Do you know how to fix this? I followed a tutorial once and Deleted the entry for Windows Updates under Updates and Security in Settings. It's simply not there so now there is no way I can update windows for an app I need. Is removing this entry something you've seen before.. I'm thinking there is a reverse process? Thanks. (Btw an in place repair install did not fix it although it did upgrade me from 1709 to 1803. )
