Dr... THAT'S MY MACHINE! Not only did I build those GE Scanners in the factory for 10 years, I also maintain them now for my hospital network! Thank you so much for all you do. I shared this with all of my Biomed friends to give them a better idea of why I do what I do :)

I've had 2 of these in 15 years, and it gives peace of mind in concert with regular labs and ongoing lipitor 40 mg.
Without lipitor my total cholesterol was at 400 at age 34--I am close to 70 years old now and the 1st Male in my family history to NOT have a heart attack or plaque. I have managed my heart health and tried to avoid the debilitating affects of heart disease much less desth..
I fully reccomend the scans.

Thank you for telling us what can be derived from this test. Doctors just schedule the tests but don’t tell us what they are looking for or what the test will tell them.

I cannot believe I found this video by this doctor! He is a HIGHLY RATED cardiologist in Orlando whom my husband has consulted after a Lake County cardiologist wanted to place a stent in his left coronary artery. So we went for a second opinion. Dr. J said “no” —that the blockage was not severe enough to warrant a stent. That was 10 years ago and since I put him on a low carb diet and specific supplements the blockage has significantly reduced as a result of his latest CT Angiogram. If you want to have the most definitive information regarding your heart get a CT Angiogram with a Calcium Score. And if you are in the Orlando area, Dr. J is the best cardiologist you could ever want to help you with a heart condition.❤

Thanks for this. I'm scheduled for one next week and wanted to know what it entailed first. Appreciate this.

Thank you. Very informative. I appreciate being able to get knowledge before the test to reduce the stress of not knowing what is happening and why.

209 calcium score, 59yo. Dr had me do a nuke stress test and I "passed". After seeing this video yesterday, today I insisted on this CTA and I am scheduling it next week. Thanks!

@Dr. Pradip Jamnadas you look so different w/o your facial hair!!! I've had two CCTA's, both showing zero blockages. They were done because I had chest pain, which was determined to be unrelated to the heart. My cardiologist only reported to me on the zero blockages, not all the other possibilities. Maybe because nothing else showed. My Dad had ASHD and passed at the age of 57 from a clot in the aorta. His mother passed from cardiac arrest, as did my half brother. So I want to be sure I'm not next in line, lol.

I'm scheduled for this test next Friday, and I was a little worried about it because my doctor wants me to take medication two days before the test to slow down my heart (metoprolol 25 MG). I don't like the idea of slowing down my heart; I don't want any problems with it speeding back up. lol This video has helped a lot. Thank you for taking the time to explain the benefits of having this done.
