I hope that part of Amlo's legacy will be to inspire the battered, beaten, despairing left in the USA to rise up and create the just society that Martin Luther King envisioned and a foreign policy such has JFK spoke of in his American University peace speech. Both took bullets for what they were doing and what they said, and we, really, as a country, have not recovered from those traumas. So many deaths, so many wars and a systematic stomping on every aspiration of our people over the decades. Your program about Amlo and many other tellings about Mexico need to be spread far and wide. Change IS possible. Never, ever give up.

I'm so sad to see AMLO go. I'm a Pochita from California, but I, and many feel like AMLO was also our president. He gives us hope and pride of our Mexican roots. The Mexican American (don't like the term, use it for a quick I D) has stayed very close to our Mexican roots. When AMLO spoke of the sons and daughters we have given to protect the USA in wars, it felt wonderful. AMLO gave us more acknowledgement than any USA present ever has. We are nixed by the USA for our service. We will miss him. I'm hopeful bc it seems like Claudia will pick up the baton and go forward. Adiós AMLO. Gracias por todo en los dos lados de la frontera
