It has already been said about the corruption in the Mexican government by a prior commenter. The narrative about the hurricanes being a major reason for those in Central America trying to gain entry into the United States is a problem easily corrected. First you have to understand the standards by which buildings (office, home, hospitals, etc..) are constructed. We have damage done here when a hurricane hits our shores, but these county's sustain more damage because of construction, material and manner in which these things are built. Why not help address this issue with our peace corps teaching better construction methods. All of the problems in these countries can be corrected but you need a workable plan.
