Just a tip, if something cuts you down to the bone and is still in place, don’t remove it until you get to an emergency room

"for the length it goes from here to here so its about that long" lmao wtf? Product review? More like "I cut my leg with a machete and heres what happened" review.

0:53 I laughed out loud at your measurements here...

Hey bud (and all), the first machetes you show, the cheap chipped blades... is that what you call "edge rolls"?

I've seen using this expressiin pretty much everywhere but still havent got it clear what it means, even google is no big help...

I was so keen on the Gerber Gator (no matter the bad reviews, most of which i really think are due to demanding to use its carbon-steel blade beyond its intended purpose) but now by total chance i've spotted this Fiskars one and efen if it means carrying a separate saw, it really has got me.

Cheers from the Italian Alpine woods :)

You may want to add some shin guards like a catcher wears.

Axe 🪓 review.. you know it’s a good axe because you’ll be able to remove it from the bone in your leg ? Lol 😆 that cracked me up

"It goes from here to here, about that long."
Edited: Saw your comment, maybe in the description add what you responded to another comment with;
28" total in length. 18" of blade. Sharp as a razor. High grade steel. Might be too sharp as a machete.

Half of the video is talking about almost cutting off your leg. Not the kind of limbs I'm wondering how it cuts but I'll take it under advisement.

I’ve just started using a machete and need to give some thought to safety gear

This is like a Norm McDonald telling a joke. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Even the way of talking is similar. Stay safe.

The sheath that comes with the machete axe isn't really a sheath, more of a carrying case. No belt loop or strap loops...does anyone know of an aftermarket belt sheath, or a way to secure existing sheath to a rucksack for carrying in the wild?

I love Fiskars products. Almost all fiskars Gerber machetes are Chinese made. I got one of fiskars machetes and found them to be extremely front end heavy

They should have called it the "Machetaxdrawknife Thing" and made the sheath capable of sliding onto the top axe part as the 2nd drawknife handle.

Gotta use Japanese hatchets. 80year olds clear brush and plant rice with their amazing tools. Best steel in the world.
