An Oxford University Maths Admission Test: 3cos^2(x)+2sin(x)+1

Oxford Maths Admission Test 2020. This is a quadratic equation involving sin(x) and cos(x). We will find the biggest value of 3cos^2(x)+2sin(x)+1. The fun part is, we do not have to use calculus to find the maximum value because this is actually a quadratic equation in terms of sin(x).
