The 3rd party market is flooded with Switch consoles. The consumer can easily find a used Switch for half the price. I’m sure if Nintendo wants to move more units, they will have a price cut.

Honestly if they just bump the Switch Lite down to $150 and wheel out some Nintendo Selects that would probably make all the difference

I don't know if Nintendo will do a reveal trailer for the switch 2 right before the holiday season. Remember what Nintendo said. It's going to take more time to make new games.

Too many switch 2 rumors and uncertainty on it's backwards compatibility, people are afraid to spend now in fear of losing their purchases.

The logical assumption is that the OG Switch family will go on sale once the Switch 2 is announced. My prediction is we get a tease for the Switch 2 at the end of the September direct and it gets shown in full in its own thing early next year to be released not long after. In the meantime, the OG Switch family gets price cuts to squeeze the last bit of life out of them this holiday season.

If they can drop an Ocarina of Time remake.... That would Boost sales so bad to 160 million. It should run on Switch 1 and 2 with increased Specs... and O.

These two titles alone would be a real Banger.
