I am so impressed by what he was able to do with the amount of space he has. There's a lot going on, but he was able to create different zones and make the decor and storage intentional. The soft pastels and recurring blue and green theme really ground the space, too. His personality really shines through!

Rudy's decorating proves an apartment doesn't need to look like an apartment. My favorite is the wall behind the bed, the circular tie rack, and who would have thought to monogram your air conditioner, but there it is. I love this inspiring and cozy home.

I've always admired people that can dive into color and add character to a place. I get overwhelmed easily. Took me about 4 years after living on my own to finally put art on the walls.

What a delightful person. It's so interesting to see Neo-Palladian concepts and Victoriana flourishes filtered through a sort of mid-century Palm Beach aesthetic as realised in a tiny Upper East Side apartment. Love the wonderfully overloaded tie rack, the commitment to rattan furniture, the interchangeable stacking of books and brightly colored clothing on Billy bookcases and the accumulated effect of the various artworks in cultivating such a distinctive vision of life.

I love the things he is able to place in his “apartment “. I was glad that he didn’t call it “studio” because I live in a two bedroom apartment and it’s nearly as large as his. I have respect for him for the quality of items he either finds or buys . How great it’s that he pays tributes to his grandmother’s needleworks and that he emphasizes that it’s part of his skills. He’s a true crafty, artful young elegant man. Thank you for sharing and tips on different things to do to love my apartment and to put items that I enjoy!
