if you apply the glitter coat with a makup sponge it will cover so much better. Christine taught me that. so you brush the polish on the makeup (wedge) sponge then sponge it on the nail. your top coat will smooth out any uneveness from the sponging. brilliant technique!!

I keep my boxes, lol. I know I'm in the minority with that. I store all of my polish in bags/boxes because I move around a lot and having the polish in the individual boxes and not clacking around inside the larger storage containers brings me comfort.

I remember from Cristine’s older videos that if you want to put on a glitter coat use a makeup sponge, put the nail polish on it (usually takes at least a couple passes and dips of the brush) then wait a few seconds and essentially stamp it on your nails. She recommends using some liquid latex around your nails for easy cleanup but since a ski accident in February of 2020 my hands are shaky so I just ignore that step and wash my hands and dishes after painting my nails regardless. Anyways I have been using the makeup sponge trick for a few years now since watching that Simplynailogical video many moons ago and it is great! 💿💿
