Why should Dad be with Mom during Labor ?

Recently, I had the opportunity to support a couple during their labor and birth. Lokesh initially seemed quite timid during the couple's session, but in the labor ward, I saw him as a powerful person who never left his wife’s side. The most beautiful thing was witnessing how they supported each other so beautifully through the labor and the birth of their little boy, who weighed nearly 3.7 kg. Lokesh had tears in his eyes after the baby was born, and the couple hugged each other in happiness! It was so heartwarming for all of us.

There can be doctors, nurses, and birth support people like me around, but nothing can match the support and love a husband gives his wife during labor. I am so happy that many hospitals are
@womenscenterbymotherhood allowing dads to be in the labor ward. A big mention to their doctor Selvanandhini for being so supportive.
