I think the small seconds bambino is the one to get. I really do wish they made these versions in 36 mm. I know they have an old model 36mm they used to make, but those are very hard to get.

Those 38mm Small Seconds Bambinos really have something nice going on. Orient reasserting themselves in that entry level dress watch segment. There's been a lot of competition from Chinese microbrands on spec, but Orient have a level of taste and sense of history that I think matters in a dress watch.

that last one looks amazing!! i'm still happy with my cream and blue hands 38mm bambino, but if Orient put sapphire crystals on these, OR even just acrylic (for the ease of repair), they'd be all but perfect!!

Orient is amazing 38mm is a perfect size and those dials are simple yet amazing. One of my first watches which I still have is the Orient Maestro in black dial with rose gold accents still one of the best watches I've ever bought for the price. A guy once asked me if I was wearing a Mavado

I agree, the greens are my favorite, particularly the small seconds version. It's an unusual color, but I like it paired with the rose gold markers and hands!

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH

That green shade looks close to my ideal. I long wanted the Timex Galli S1 (until you pointed out the QC issues, so cheers for the heads-up!) but this looks cheaper and better built. Looking forward to a full review!
