I went into the drama not expecting much and by halfway through, I was in love with the drama, the script, the cinematography, the fight scenes, etc. It was wonderfully acted by all the actors.

By the end of the drama, I was blown away by Alen Fang's acting (esp at the final scene where he was possessed by the God of Destruction), in addition to Xiao Zhan's and Ren Mi's performances. Great job cast and production crew!!

Love the drama. It is beautiful. Love the pacing. The sets, costumes, and actors/actresses are so beautiful. I love Xiao Zhan’s acting! Love the angst. The master-disciple relationship is very touching. And there were so many touching moments with love and chivalry. The CGI was smooth. One of my favorite Xiao Zhan dramas. I love the BTS. I remember that Xiao Zhan was filming this while still performing the 8 hour theatrical A Dream Like a Dream.

I love this Drama I never expected anything about it. I only want to watched this xianxia drama because I hooked with the beautiful title "the longest promise" it's my first time to watched xiao zhan in historical drama. I'm totally amaze because he act almost perfectly. He was fit as a male lead so adorable. Secondly it's my first time to watched Ren Min she give me a big impact in acting she's the best in this drama usually when she cry. She's the best in serious character. I love the character of the ML and FL. Even the 2nd lead are great in acting. They all give justice for the drama. They all amazing, having beautiful scenery, nice costume, excellent fighting scene, great acting. And lovely music video.
