Britt, I'm only 4 minutes in and I love you positivity however, Nothing but Good things to say about Cebu.... gotta keep it Real brother - the traffic and extremely hazardous sidewalks (particularly around congested roadways) are major Negatives particularly for older less stable dudes. Fourteen months and the Bloom is still on the Rose... good for you my friend. 100% agree about the Filipino people being exceptional, and that's most important. What a trip (literally) not a level graded sidewalk, street anywhere in that part of the city. Again it was dusk at that time. Britt hopefully we can meet up later this year !?

Santa Fe Phils, beach will be next hot spot for expat retirees. my first time there 1983, 1985, 1989, then 2008, prefer Bali or Thailand, but Cambodia has best visa.

You sure do seem like a happy fella. I don't think your volume / intensity will go over well in other SE Asian countries, but you are right, the Philippines was built for you. In more conservative nations, you will be seen as a 'typical' loud American.
