Interesting that it wobbles so much on a stand but budget speakers can come in handy for lot of random things!! For example cocktail hour, or monitor speaker or extra fill speaker for a weird room! Nice review!

120db seems INCREDIBLY low for a 15" speaker. One of the biggest reasons you buy a behemoth speaker like that, is for higher SPL. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Great review though. 👍

LD system budget friendly killer, I kinda wanna see this with 18inc sub.

IF a manufacturer is telling the truth (🤔) then SPL output data is more important then stated wattage. I run sound for live bands and it's crucial that i can achieve certain decibel readings from FOH. It's really a matter of how efficient a speaker is and it's coverage pattern. Just my two cents.

I never use Bluetooth to test audio quality...too many variables from versioning, to compression, to signal strength, to device EQ, etc. I have had the same experiences listening to something over Bluetooth...but it was just quirkiness of the BT...

The easiest way to test audio quality is to use a lossless mp3 player, with high res files, wired in from speaker to speaker.

EV ELX is a quality workhorse speaker ....and your comparing a brand new PRORECK, ok i dont think it would be a huge difference in sound but the quality of sound and the durability is what i would look for .
