FLORIDA TRAVEL DAY! Join me and Laura as we start our magical journey at Manchester Airport as we travel with Virgin Atlantic to Orlando International for our May 2023 holiday.

We show the full journey and all the bits a travel vlog should have, with some tips and pointers along the way that may help you! We traveled via the new Terminal 2, using the Aspire Airport alpunge at Manchester.

We flew on Mamma Mia, a new Airbus A350-1000 Aircraft. Flight number S073 MAN to MCO.

We complete our arrival in Orlando, collecting our hire car from Alamo and driving straight to Disney Springs!

Our travel day tradition is getting to our villa, excitedly looking around and the best part… seeing the pool area. Then we go to Walmart and do a big food shop. Then we have a chill night in the villa and go in the pool while it’s dark after we’ve eaten. Love it so much 😊

Magic Kingdom!!! your crossing the ferry boat watching the rising sun, Bay Lake is gleaming and as you look straight ahead you can see the castle in all its glory, to the left the Grand magnificent as ever. then the joy, happiness and all the emotions when walking down main street and seeing the castle, the smells knowing the you are about to have the best day on this earth. love you guys keep up the good work!!! xx

I’ve lived in Orlando all my life, you can guarantee may-July it will rain everyday at 4pm. If it’s really a hot one in the morning then 3pm lol. Sea breeze meets the evaporation from our lakes. Part of life here to deal with living in the Caribbean during summer

I highly recommend taking your family to better restaurants, preferably officially endorsed Disney establishments. People who love their family tend to act in a slighly more caring fashion.

You can’t beat Orlando Travel Day, picking your rental car and hitting the road. Totally love it. Not sure if you know but with Alamo you can online check in and use the skip the counter option which can save loads of time if desks are busy !!
