Hey Berserk fans,

here's my Berserk OST FORCES Epic Metal Cover.

Just in time for the Golden Age Memorial release.

I'm getting round to finishing the Berserk: Golden Age Trilogy and in my opinion there's a lot to like about it. Sure the animation is a little janky and a chunk of back story is missed but I think it's got the Berserk manga vibe.

The Berserk 2016 anime could have built on these movies but alas, here we are.

Here's hoping a true adaption of Muira's vision can be realised at some point.

*edit* I've watched them all since I wrote this description and will say that I thought the second and third movies were actually very good. I wouldn't be unhappy if the art direction continued in this style (though it's obviously not like the Manga). The Eclipse especially, merged the CGI and animation very well.

Also...f*ck Griffith/Femto.

I honestly think that this version perfectly sums up the development that Berserk went through as a story. Starting off quietly yet having so much potential underneath as Miura had not yet come to his own, still carrying the influences of people before and during his time, since he initially saw Berserk as basically Devilman meets Fist of the north star. Then slowly developing the story into its full potential while also coming to his own as an artist and as a story crafter.

I use to think the chorus line was “Holy Forces”, which made sense to me since the Ideal of Evil is basically the Devil, but the gutsy “Hai Yoi Forces” definitely fits Guts to a tee

I must say this, the choice of background scenes when the song reaches its final crescendo and climax is so absolutely perfect. The God Hands appearing one after the other in this chorus, evoking that divine feel while these beings from another dimension manifest. I can't thank you enough for this remix, this is seriously absolute fuel for my creativity. You rock.
