I know there are different cover types, I've also seen a few other videos with different opinions and wanted to ask your opinion on vinyl as a book covering.? And what sort of fabrics are ok v not ok.

I’ve watched your other videos and I see you have faux leather in your Amazon storefront for book binding. Does it have those similar properties/ have you used the faux leather?

suggest that y'all reference Leather for Libraries, Hulme, et al, Library Supply Company, , London, 1905 - the attributes which you assign to leather from a picture are impossible to tell the suitability for bookbinding - most distressingly the assertion that leather which is pictured as half folds is to show whether the leather has a round hand... very important property for leather - your statement is 100% incorrect - whether the leather has a round hand, has very little bearing on whether the leather will take a fold correctly - especially when the leather is 100% veg - background - certified court expert witness in this field, leather - 100+ year old family business of commercial leather production = primarily specialty leather, medical, equestrian, bookbinding leather sold world wide -
