I play acoustic guitar and have messed with an electric or two over the years - but I always gave up. This is my first real electric guitar and amp too. The guitar is a Taylor T3B and I am using a Fender Classic Reverb and a Crunch Box peddle for the overdrive distortion effect in this song. Anyway, please excuse the mistakes as this is honestly the second full song I have ever played on an electric. It took me about a week to learn it and another two weeks to figure out how to get the sound right. Yea, the sound can be a lot better, but oh well, I think it sounds OK. The distortion sounds better in person - it loses something when I record it. Hope you like.
My name is Barry and my mother lives in another state and she is disabled. She likes to hear me sing and we do not get to see each other very often, so I am making some videos for her. Thanks Sean - yes, Taylor makes fantastic guitars. They cost a lot, but they have low cost ones too. I love Taylor and Taylor dows not pay starts to play them, and they do not give them to stars - everyone has to buy one. You seem then everywhere now and Jason Marz has a signature model (his name on a special Taylor too). The guitar I am playing in this video is a Taylor T3B - look it up and see how great the orange color looks in a photo. Later Sean - I am out of space here.
