Hi Joe, you should look into using an ATS (automatic transfer switch) for switching seamless between two power inputs. Input A could be your UPS output and input B could be your regular mains. Output could be your refrigirator or anything the ATS can handle. Once your primary input shuts down, the unit provides power from the other one and the switch between them is seamless. We use this in our datacenter to switch power to a rack in case of failure of one of the sources. APC has a model AP4452 or you can find these second hand for sure. Love the vids! Wish I could find a local source of 18650's.. Tried my local transfer station cause they take in old batteries once in a while but none yet. My local Home Depot takes in old power tool batteries but won't let me take any cause of "Liability issues".

btw, the liitokaala does 1 amp discharge. just press the current button while the nor test mode is blinking. u can discharge at 300 mAh, 500 mAh, 700 mAh and 1000 mAh.
