Welcome to my craft room tour for my craft room that I have finally setup. I feel I am very lucky now to have my own crafting space.
Grab a cuppa and maybe even some snacks as it's a long video but I go through all the cubes and drawers and show what I am storing in them. I watched many craft tour videos and I am also a member of 52 weeks to craft organisation and got a lot of inspiration and ideas so hopefully this will help give you ideas as well 😀

We initially setup this area when we had our patio built and the company added this area for me. The room measures 5.5metres long and is 1.5 metres wide. I used it for storage after closing down a storage unit I was renting.
My partner and I spent many hours over a couple of weeks decluttering, re-shuffling and throwing things out. We organised a council verge collection and donated some things as well. 6-8 years of clutter build up! Such a good feeling to finally sort it all out!
It was a huge job but so worth the effort and now I have a craft room to neatly contain all my supplies and it has now opened space for a sewing area in my home office.
Thanks to my partner Mike for suggesting the idea and I grew it from there 😀 He put all the furniture together for me and mounted the units on the wall. (I made the drawers for the 5 x 5 Kallax unit!).
Quite a low budget setup and mainly Ikea furniture and Skadis pegboards plus the accessories. You may find inspiration on how I have set mine up & how I have used the storage space. (I cannot believe all of it was stored in boxes and containers and was spilling all throughout the house. The bonus is we have our dining table back!)
The pegboard system is called Skadis plus all the accessories available for it. The markers are in Sunnersta containers and I have used 2 skadis hooks to hang them.
I'm now in the process of setting up a sewing space in my home office. I also have my computer and printers setup in this room. I am keeping all my fabric, laces and sewing notions inside as the storage space is outside and whilst it is weather proof I don't want to risk any damage to the fabrics.
