I have been organizing for days and really challenging myself to thin things out and rearrange, not just shove things away! Take a look at the changes I've made.

Hi Wilson 👋 I got some really good tips on organizing! I need to put the items I use the most close to me . Your new counter and storage is going to be fantastic! I bought the cheap cases instead of the iris cases you have, not worth it to save a few dollars. It looks like you really thought through the process. I used to make a big mess and just leave, why put it away but now my cat is into everything so I’m forced to be neat . Thank you for sharing your space with me . Hugs 🤗

You have a great large functional space. You put a lot of thought behind organizing your items. I feel like I don’t realize that the placement of my items is not working for me until I work in the room for a while. I’m constantly trying to figure it out before rather than after! So far...I’m back to square 1, AGAIN! Thanks for taking the time to share.😀

Thank you for being real and showing the things you store in which are utilitarian. I appreciate hearing how you organize and think about where things should go. I will never have a craft room, I live in a one bedroom apartment, so organizing for easy use is essential and under the bed is a legit storage space! The bed IS the desk.

Hi omg I also am a butterfly and am in the middle of reorganizing my craft room!! I also just listened to one of her books on audible and it was so good!! I love your space and I found out it’s so important to do what makes it functional for you!! Great job and tfs!!!

A kindred spirit. I'm in the process of doing what you're doing. Weeding out what isn't necessary to make room for what is. I have an extra bedroom that holds the seasonal stuff. Which has been scaled down as well. And only recently I decided NOT to buy tons of paper anymore. After two years of crafting (I'm a newbie) I know what I like to create and how to make it happen. I don't need every single paper (and new tool) that comes out on the market. My husband is happy! And, I feel better too. TYFS.

I pulled out Christmas awhile ago and I think I STILL won't have time to tackle anything. I haven't found time yet. UGH! I'm a butterfly too. You have a wonderful craft room. Soo jealous of the craft weekend at the beach. I live near one, but to craft at one would be heavenly. TFS!

Great craft room. Looks like you have put a lot of thought into it. Love your clean counter top. I think you said you were a butterfly. Yes I can make a mess in no time, but I am having fun. I hate to clean up, but sometimes I just have to in order to keep crafting and/or it is driving me crazy. I do feel good once I clean. I work on several projects. I can't concentrate on just one because I get new ideas or see things I want to try for that project. The beginning of next year, we will convert one bedroom into my craft room. I am so excited about that. OK I wrote a book. TFS and take care❤️💙❤️

Great space, Sarah! And lots of great tips. Unfortunately (?), shopping for crafty stuff seems to be another hobby for me. lol. You got me beat with the embroidery floss though. lol. Counter space has always been such an issue for me. Not so much anymore, but I wouldn't mind more counter space if I could fit more into my room. TFS your room & ideas!
