I love your daughters comment, “ I just found out that I love making candles.” What a positive attitude. You explain everything so well.

“I just found out I love making candles.” The sweetest sound any Mom could hear and knowing you are passing on a useful craft.

Since your husband made the candle rack - just go ahead and have him make a notch or mark on the base or side of the rack for how long your wicks are that way incase you use all your candles up before your next batch you'll always know how long to cut the wicks. 🤗

If you lay down parchment paper the wax will peel right up after cooled and be able to go right back into melt pot

I love making candles! I love your process. I did notice that you straightened the candles with your fingers so I was wondering if you have tried using a small weight like a metal nut that you could snip off when you are done which could help you on that?❤

OMG! How time flies. I remember when your little one was born, and I can't believe how both girls have grown up so fast. Both are growing up to be such beautiful young ladies. I miss your podcast but every time you post one, I can see the great improvements your husband has made to the farm. You're what one would call a dynamite couple.

Thank you so much for sharing your process! I've recently become obsessed with the idea of making my own beeswax tapers for gifts, so it's super-helpful to see the whole setup and workflow. ❤

This was nice. What about putting little weights at the bottom, like beads. What would that do?

I love watching you do these. I roll mine from sheets bc pain limits and used handspun flax as my wicks 🥰

I'm able to get hold of beeswax quite frequently and wanted to reflect that in the slogan of my new candle business, but maybe "we've got wax coming out of our ears" wouldn't be the best choice.

You should ties a metal nut (or something else cheap and heavy and reusable) to the bottom of them to keep them straight.

Thank you for this, I teach nature school for kids and I think this could be an awesome project for them.

Thank you for the inspiration. I've made rainbow dipped candles before but not thought about how beautiful simple natural beeswax would be.
