I love Qrow and Ruby's relationship. Even though Ruby is not his biological niece, Qrow loves her as much as he loves Yang. You don't need to be related by blood to be family. I also love how Qrow looks almost annoyed at first when Ruby hugs him and when she asks him if he missed her, he just smiles and jokingly replies with, "Nope".

When you realize that the real reason Qrow said "Nope". to Ruby's question is because he's been following her around as a Crow.
