I like the fact that your videos never give a condescending vibe and you always encourage people to just do their own thing, while sharing your own journey. And it’s always a good piece of advice to tell people to step outside their norm, it inspires a whole new energy behind your creativity.

Getting advice from you feels so luxurious. It’s such a blessing to learn from such an amazing person and photographer. Helped me a lot along my photography journey and actually pushed me to create my own photography only account!

1: Never buy new. Buy used.
Seriously why buy a $800 lens if you don't have the cash, when you can buy the same lens at $300 with 1 previous owner.
Cameras and lenses are not phones. You can use the same lens for 30+ years even with rough handling, if not more

I started doing street back in the early 2000s in NYC. Then a few years ago I moved to Maryland and I’m lacking inspiration. The idea of going out of your comfort zone hits. Thank you.

Thanks for an awesome video. In a time where people seem to approach and even promote unhealthy attitudes in regards to what being an artist should be, this was really refreshing and great. I’m my opinion (and I’m aware it’s my preference :), I felt like you laid out some really healthy approaches to being a photographer or an artist or a professional of any kind. Things that will allow people to withstand the test of time. To enjoy the journey and to be grateful for the process is something I’m currently learning to do, though I admittedly still have rough days. Going outside of our comfort zones, and always being a student. I love all your videos but this one in particular hit home. Thanks man for what you bring to the photography scene. Enjoy your weekend and see you on the next one. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

People who give criticism with the ambition of wanting you to better your work and push your comfort zone is always a good thing. True criticism comes from a place of positive intention.

Professional: a person engaged in a specified activity, especially a sport or branch of the performing arts, as a main paid occupation rather than as a pastime.

From the Oxford dictionary. So if you work at McDonald’s cooking burgers you’re a professional burger flipper. It’s just a fancy word
