I shoot professionally for manufacturers and here are a few more tips. Don't shoot a skew steering wheel. If it is commercial (paid) work, ALWAYS get permission for locations as people can get sued. Always get your centre caps upright. Don't cover any part of the car, no matter how creative the shot is. Shoot with professional assistants, they know what they are doing. And last but not least, what works for a dealership's social media pages, in most cases, never works for the product comms or marketing department of a vehicle brand, in short, find locations where the brand would like to see their vehicles which in most cases isn't a grungy place. Good luck on your journey, your compositions are good.

I love the old “it’s for a media assignment.” It will work everytime without fail.

The fast and the furious theme and "family" qoutes was a nice touch.

Hot Take: Shooting multiple focal lengths is great, but when you're starting out, get a prime lens that has a 1.8, 1.4 aperture. Photos turn out way better than shooting with a kit zoom lens and an aperture of 3.5-5.6

As a professional photographer and retoucher i agree with most of these points, except the one that talks about shooting at less than 24mm.

Don’t get it why YouTube isn’t pushing your videos more. We met on a photowalk in Sydney almost 3 years ago now, with Hayden and the other guys. Don’t think you had above 5k subs back then but still you deserve more than 20k. More so a couple of 100k😉 Great video man!!

First time I've come across your channel, you deserve a lot more publicity. Content is 10/10.

New here, I like the high energy in the video without making it feel super forced. Lol

Following these tips as I'm honing my skills with every shoot. Is it bad practice to 'over edit' if theres a certain vibe you're trying to go for?

I got an eg sigma 105mm macro and an ef 40mm for film photography and scanning, I only had an 85mm for digital, so I just got a converter and now I have three great focal legnths all for digital, and I can buy cheap old glass like the canon 45mm ts at 700 vs a modern canon ts that is probably north of 2k

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Joseph Garcia is a severely underrated creator.

I was in a expo today and shoot a lot at 18mm with a crop sensor. What you think?

Flickery carlights is an amature move.
Choose ntsc or pal in the settings.
Or use deflicker in davinci resolve.
I dont want to offend you <3

Your video edits are top notch. The comedic timing is great, tips are helpful. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again: you’re gonna go places bro.
