Considering that colossal squids are known to live deeper the older they get, chances are we've never observed a full sized colossal squid.

Neither of those differences make anything less terrifying, if anything it makes both of them more terrifying because one just runs up on u & the other sneaks up on u & neither personalities are any better than the other when it comes to them being extremely dangerous regardless

Crazy thing is they can grow even bigger. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get up to 20-25 meters.
