Not sure how this guy doesn’t have millions of subscribers. These are the best learning videos broken down so incredibly well they are just so encouraging. Went from doing the same boring thing when snowboarding to having a plan on how to improve on my next visit. Seriously, I know it’s exactly what this page describes, but it’s spot on for me.

Now I’m just constantly itching to get back to mountains and practice more. Took his advice on “switch days” and forced myself to just do it for an entire day, the improvement was spectacular. After a few more visits to the mountains focusing on my switch riding, I’ve become so comfortable and it’s made my regular riding way stronger. Side hits were next on the list for me, still working on doing the Ollie properly, think I got it now, landed my first 180 front side and then back side, and then again leading with the regular and landing switch. The progress has become addicting. I feel like I’m finally getting the full value of snowboarding. And to think I was ready to retire my board a few years ago…

Thanks to this channel, seriously, I also never comment and like stuff and don’t subscribe to anything. But you deserve it bro!

Baby steps is the best concept, everything about the learning experience is about progression and that’s how I learn easier. Thanks for the tips !

Awesome list, i actually am in the process of learning 4 out 5 of these tricks. Guess im learning the right path to becoming better. I also learned the hard way by flying 5ft into the air as my first ramp jump. Landed on my back super hard and after tht went straight to small ramps to get my ollie fundamental down before attempting that big ramp again. Im trying to learn how to ride switch and do 180s while carving. Also first time i did a jump, i did it the ollie way from skateboarding which is cool to know i did the jumps correctly. Snowboarding is soo much fun after passing the beginner stage

not really a snowboard question but how do i learn to spin comfortably to my non-natural side? i ride goofy and spin left but on flat ground in socks, on skis and on a snowboard it feels weird
funny enough i can sort of spin to the right on a bmx

I’m on that list of comfortable with the entire mountain, but boxes and rails scare the crap out of me. To many concussions 17 years ago. Give me a big jump and I’ll straight air and do grabs or a black diamond run, but through a rail in there and I’m all of a sudden afraid I’ll get hurt.
