That Maserati depreciated by $5000 just during the length of this video.

As an owner of a trouble-free 2017 Maserati Granturismo, I have some very simple advice for you. Check your battery to make sure that it's in good shape (replace if it isn't), then always keep it on a trickle charger if you're not using it every single day. If you do that, you should have years of trouble-free miles and smiles.

Hi and congrats on the car. I bought my 2008 Maserati 6 months ago now. I beat you in the crazy stakes as no PPI, insurance write off, 125, 000 miles and a whole host of issues… but mine was $6, 000. I have to do all the work myself as there is no way I could afford to pay anyone. She has been reliable. She is mostly easy to work on. The electronics and warning lights are best to be acknowledged, checked, but not necessarily get worried about. An Autel AP200 scanner is a must at about $70. I have spent about $4000 so far fixing mine, but that was a huge amount of parts and will get me a good car that will be good for many years. For example engine and gearbox mounts were $600, but should now be good for 50, 000 miles. Anyway I have done a few how to videos that may help. Have fun with her and try to do it all yourself, it is both rewarding and very much cheaper!

I have the exact same car with less than 14, 000 miles. Total repair costs have been less than $500. Car has been extremely reliable. Two services every other year that rotate. One is $1, 500 and the other is $400 no matter the Mileage driven. If you can't afford the game - don't play.

After reading these 300+ comments, it becomes clear that the actual owners of these cars are very happy and believe they are reliable given the cars age and complexity. Then there are jealous trolls that cannot afford a vehicle such as this and take pride in criticizing those that can afford such a beautiful and exotic vehicle.

I see some hater messages about this car, I think it's a pure jealousy, I own maserati gts for 4 years and it never gave me any bother, yes parts can be expensive but who buys a exotic cars like this shouldn't worry about spending extra money for parts. Driving experience is definitely worth it, I used to drive ferrari, and this car actually more fun to drive than ferrari... who ever says maserati granturismo sports are not reliable its bullshit, go and own one and after talk about your opinion. Bro, your car looks awesome. This car is the prettiest car on the roads ppl won't stop taking pictures and video the car when I drive about. 👌

Very nice video and I also bought an 2014 Maserati GranTurismo for the same reasons you have done it, great look, great sound, for a reasonable price.

A few years ago a friend of mine tried to sell me the same car for $30, 000 that was about 7 years old with 25, 000 miles. He bought it new for about $140, 000. It had $30, 000 of repairs ahead of it and I passed on the deal. If it were free, I would have still passed on it.

This is not the best looking car at $40, 000, it’s the best looking car at any price. It’s stunning. The sound is intoxicating. I want one but can’t get my financial manager to agree to one, she goes on and on regarding something about “expectations around future offspring” with her 😂

I love how you love the car.
I'm loving it either, I'm happy for you. Congrats and drive safe!

Congrats on your new ride! A great choice considering what you get for the purchase price. RIP to the glove box though…

My dad wanted to buy a used Mazer Quartroporte. The salesman (who was a saint in my book) told him that if you can’t afford to put AT LEAST $1, 000 a month in savings for maintenance and repairs you can’t afford it no matter how cheap the car is.

I partially agree. The Maserati Gran Turismo engine sounds best on a short-term basis, but the AMG V8s and V12s would be better daily drivers.
