Two experts talking at length without a reporter with a humanities degree interrupting them with guilt based questions = a joy to listen to. I could listen to men like this ALL day.

Everyone overestimated Russia's capabilities, except the Ukrainians who knew them so well.

Love the format. Two highly knowledgeable guests talking to one another. It really helps to bring out the areas where they agree and the areas that they aren't quite agreed upon. That's much harder to see in a regular interviewer and interviewee format.

Its always nice to hear a dialogue or discussion between two proudly intelligent experts ... instead of another needlessly divisive debate.

Philip Ingram in my opinion is correct 100% from top to bottom in his analysis. I would love to see more of these types of discussions, I think this is a good video, piece of a journalism and analysis

The Ukrainians don't need to destroy the Kersh bridge, the road and rail bridges in Rostov feed the Kerch bridge and are more vulnerable targets..

"Strategically Putin has lost this war." This dialogue is so easy and clear to follow for someone English is a second language. Sean and Philip are my favourite analysts.

This has to be one of the best ever "podcasts" produced by Times Radio. Absolutely brilliant insights.

Really interesting discussion. Another one I'd like to recommend - an interview with Kyiv Post (circa 12/13 June) with a former senior Putin aide Andrei Illarionov..rivetting...where to start? He said Putin revealed his plan for Ukraine to Russia's top brass at a meeting on 17th September 2003 in the small town of Yisk. Putin thinks he has been sent by God to restore Russia to greatness ( my precis) Thinks he is going to change the world...hope you find it.

Putin ran away from Moscow and hid himself when he though that the rebels were advancing. This is what the pathetic Black sea fleet have done, ran away to hide in Cuba. Absolutely pathetic.

Sean Bell is infuriating as an experienced RAF Officer, what was the alternative but to hold the Russians at Bakhmut? Move to the rear and fight in less opportune ground? In a built up area the Ukrainians had the advantage to attrition the Russians. That’s what they did.
