What is P - Value | How to calculate P - Value | P-Value in Statistical Hypothesis Tests | Example
the probability that a particular statistical measure, such as the mean or standard deviation, of assumed probability distribution will be greater than or equal to (or less than or equal to in some instances) observed results.
In null-hypothesis significance testing, the p-value is the probability of obtaining test results at least as extreme as the result actually observed, under the assumption that the null hypothesis is correct

Wait suppose alpha=0.05 and df=3 then x=7.815 right? If it is like this then sigma= 3 or something else. N ok number of items or some things. Sigma and x how do you get them. If you say just assume why can't they be 0.
