Yeah brother this is so true, I remember a physic test they ran on people. They took an event and made the queuing lane a single long winding thing that lead to a door, they had another door without the “cattle heard lanes as I like to call them” and hundreds of people dutifully waited in this huge line for their turn oblivious to the fact there was another door right there they could use with no line at all.
Then they had one of their people leave the line and go to the other door and go right in no waiting. As soon as the people saw this the spell was broken and a bunch went in that way, but until they saw someone do it and that it was ok they were just standing there in the line. SMH!!
And yes they repeated this study multiple times and it was always the same, every once in a while some one from the crowd would go try the door before they had to send their insider and when this happened people would then follow. But until someone else did it no one would move.

Interesting concept of size density you point out that most don't consider. It seems like it would be better to focus on value density as one metric of preparation. I would call out that toilet paper is a necessity for health reasons, especially if you consider a society that isnt cleaning themselves and how dirty and smelly they would be.

New Orleans is having an issue where salt water is getting into the drinking water and it will effect the water in 30 days or so. Everyone is panic buying up all the water bottles. I saw and Asian woman with 3 carts filled with bottled water as if they will stop shipping the water all of a sudden to New Orleans

I have tried all kinds of things to wipe with. Socks, t-shirts, various leaves, Clorox wipes, my hand, others hands, college ruled paper, The NY Times all kinds of things. Toilet paper is still the best and after the Clorox wipe Incident, I WILL FIGHT for that TP!!

Makes mental note to start panic buying useless items such as pens and poptarts whilst mumbling under my breath but loud enough to be heard the government is going to stop them to try and start a trend instead of joining in one.
Then when people are rushing to buy pens and poptarts sneak in and buy all the toilet paper and bleach.
