Where do German words end?

I'm decorating my Christmas tree and playing with German compound nouns. It's what we Germans do. Because we can.

The piece of music used in the video is "DReam" by snowflake and royalty free available here:

Well, one word I learned, when I was 11, was "Donaudampfschiffkapitänskajütenabgasröhrchenbeleuchtungssteckdosentechnikeraktenschranktürschloss", and this word is funny, because you can start with "techniker..." after the word ends, again, so this word is, theoreticly, endless. xD

I really love the "To victory" poster, nothing says christmas more than a shouting dalek. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face!

This was an awesome video, thanks for sharing it. My dad, German-American, was a linguist and had grown up fluent in German. Up until I was 5 or so, he would speak to me (for the most part) only in German. Unfortunately, in kindergarden, I became upset about something, and started this German/English babble. My teacher was fascinated, and wanted my dad to come in and teach the class, but instead, he stopped teaching me. Makes me sad I can't communicate. German is a beautiful, strong language.

Du hast mein Leben erweitert. Es ist mir schon so oft passiert, dass ich über die Farbe der Beschriftung des Deckels der Dose der Nüsse der Verzierung des Honigkuchens am Weihnachtsbaum reden wollte, aber ich wusste nie ein Wort dafür. Jetzt kann ich sagen und jeder wird mich gleich auf Anhieb verstehen können *Ironie aus.

Thank you for helping me remember what little German language and customs I knew. I lived in Hanau Germany for awhile and left in 1987. I really miss it, especially now at Christmas time. I really miss the German markets in the town square. Thank you very much.

I love how your Delek poster hangs there all framed and formal like a family picture.
Of course I have my own Dalek poster, from Etsy, about 1m², on the wall in my bedroom.

I have that exact Dalek poster with that exact-style frame on my wall. And I love German. You could easily make it into my BFF circle.
