Just wanted to share a fun fact about the first Fast & Furious movie. All the Supra engine sounds you hear are actually from my MKIV Supra! I owned it from 1997 to 2005, and it had a little over 600 a fully built motor, and a twin HKS turbo kit.

There were five Supras used for sound recording at Palmdale Regional Airport. The sound engineers placed mics throughout the interior and exterior of each car. I had a blast participating and was thrilled when they chose my car's sound for the movie. I was the only one with an open wastegate to the atmosphere; everyone else's dumped back into the exhaust. I also had a blast attending the Premier at Mann's Chinese Theater. I regret selling that car, especially since it was before they went up in value.

I had a 89 Cressida with the non turbo 7m-ge 3.0 inline 6 in it. It was a rear wheel drive sedan that was so fun to drive. The same engine was in the non turbo supras from the late 80s early 90s.

The only problem with NA is that it doesn't have the oil goodies 😢 so when you pop a turbo on it. Cost a little more then just a turbo.
