Tom Petty was gone less than 6 moths after this video was recorded. ~ His Family's statement: “On the day he died he was informed his hip injury had graduated to a full-on break and it is our feeling that the pain was simply unbearable and was the cause for his overuse of medication, ” according to the statement from Dana Petty, his wife, and Adria Petty, his daughter. ~ Sad tragedy of an accidental drug overdose. He had needed hip replacement surgery, but insisted on keeping his concert dates schedule.
