how to clear ALL markers in premiere pro

Sometimes, you need to clear all the markers and start afresh on a project in Premiere Pro. In my way of editing videos, I use a set of markers at various stages of the project.

Actually, when I click on the timeline, the "Clear All Markers" option becomes grey, but when I click anywhere else, the option becomes available. So kinda thanks anyway.

I have the markers in the clip, I mean in the clip itself. I use it this way because that's how I mark the clips I already use so I don't repeat them. Somebody know how to remove the markers in the clips?
