This stutter are shader compiling. You need either to play a litle and let you cache pipline build or there are some reddit users shareing their shaders

The stuttering from the shaders compiling. After some time, it won't be like that and you can expect performance to be better than on Windows.

If you had the Zen Kernel, you would have done even more FPS. I swear one time, I was with a friend playing around on Garuda Linux on my old PC. It had a Ryzen 5 and a GTX 1050Ti. We logged into Minecraft and in 480p and 4 chunks with low graphics it did 4300+ fucking FPS 💀💀

I know they blocked playing it 8 months ago but does it really work on proton ?
or anti-cheat will instantly detect that Im playing it on linux?

if you limit the fps through MangoHud, it helps massively with the stutter issue on some games

I tried it on my Asus ROG with RX6800M, and there is massive difference, Lag, Ping is one thing, but it is like 80 - 100 FPS better than Windows, I did not expect that, I get Maximum FPS in Apex on Full HD 🤣🤣🤣😂 something that I wasn't able to achieve on my Desktop PC with Windows. It's AMD so it's better with Linux I guess, but remember about Gamemode and Zen kernel, quite important stuff ;)

WHat about deleting that video? It's so wrong because you didn't compile all the shaders yet.

To all the people saying to benchmark with this and that distribution you can find tons of gaming benchmarks with different distributions the margin of error is like between 1 to 5 FPS between distributions

Use Clear Linux please, it has the highest performance.

Ntoskrnl.exe is the problem for Microsoft it starts so randomly and takes so much of my cpu and Linux ubuntu doesn't so I like Linux ubuntu at that point.

linux deepin is not cool to test games do the same thing using kde neon and you will see that this practically doesn't happen the deepin distribution doesn't offer great performance in games.
